There Are Many Reasons Why Collaboration Between Us Is Important. For One Thing, We Are Kin.

In the book Engaging with the Sidhe co-authored by David Spangler and the Sidhe, the Sidhe priestess Mariel talks about how differently they and we think of and use imagination. 

They say that imagination is something we do, and it keeps us separate, acting upon the world. For them, imagination is something that they are, and a way of being in the world and with the world that draws out and enhances the life within matter.

When you bring your ancient inner ocean of imagination—of living matter—into synchronization and harmony with the imagination of the world, then you can have a powerful effect. You can bless the world in ways beyond our ability. But you can curse it as well. This is your incarnate challenge as human beings.
