Words are paths to meaning, to feeling, to inner experiencing. A word-path guides our mind, our consciousness to travel in given directions to arrive at meaning.

If words make paths, then images are the scenic overlooks to which they lead. An image presents something new and not yet experienced--beyond the path of words--for engagement and for participation in meaning-making. Sometimes this happens in an instant, in a flash of wholeness. Other times, study and careful noticing are needed to glean more from the richness of a scene.
