Nature's Invitation
My Sidhe colleagues occasionally converse with me as I develop the “Deepening Into Nature” program. They understand that humanity must create a new relationship with the natural world for the well-being of all life. The Sidhe are extraordinarily sensitive to the energetic vibrations of life and are impacted by environmental degradation and species loss. They view this time as an opportunity to work with humanity collectively and share their understanding of nature’s ways with us to foster a new collaboration between Humans, Sidhe, and Nature. ~ Ron Hays, Editor
One of my colleagues shared the following 4 Elements for a new human-nature relationship.
First, nature is always inviting us to be connected to and be in relationship to the living world around us.
This invitation can take many forms. We may sense it as a gentle touch on our bodies to come closer and be open. We may see it in the beauty of the blooming world around us. It may come as the melodic singing of birds, frogs, or crickets. It can come in many ways, for each one of us is uniquely sensitive to the nature around us. It often comes as a whisper, and not a shout. I must allow my outer and inner senses to be aware and alert to this invitation. Often, I must be still and patiently allow it to come forth.
When this invitation arrives, accept it with all your heart.
We were never driven from the garden, though we erringly left. The garden is our home. We are welcomed and belong here. Fully committing to nature’s invitation, we are embraced in Gaia’s love.
By accepting this invitation, we begin to understand:
We can learn from and appreciate the living world around us.
We remember ourselves as members of the family of all living beings.
We have agency and can foster balanced relationships between humans and other living beings.
We can enhance the vitality and diversity of all life expressing through dynamic relationships–experimenting, changing, and arising in emergent manifestations.
Lastly, as this invitation unfolds and stirs new life within, we become aware of nature's abundance and are filled with gratitude.
We are grateful for the loving presence behind this invitation, for the opportunity to partner in new relationships with the living world, and for the joy of discovering that we are participating in the unfolding of the life of Gaia.
